Colorful and entertaining, although their fans were really rude to me upstairs. Someone reserved a center table and wouldn't let me take photos. Ah, and people ask me why I stopped taking photos. But the band members were really sweet and apologetic. They can't help it if they have asshole fans.

I LOVE THE VAULT 350!! A great venue in a great neighborhood. Last Christmas I came early and checked out the joint from upstairs. Punk lives in Long Beach! I was joined by new pals, school teachers whom I met when the Dickies played the Autry June 18, 2004.

The Dickies were as energetic and lively as ever. The Addicts entertaining as well. I wrote my out-of-state pal, Michael Pilmer and his girlfriend, JB, about the Dickies playing in March, cos I promised we'd have fun next time he's in town. We're going to have a "Beer with Fear." My great volunteer, Kurt, who drives from Long Beach to my pad to scan proof sheets will also be my guest. We can't wait. It's a rare time I can gather my younger fans together to enjoy a band I shot in the beginning and with whom they grew up with. And at a great venue -- large stage, great sound, beautiful lights, strong drinks. What more can you want? See you at the Vault!!! And have dinner downtown, but leave room for the drinks. Wowsa!!

Wait, more news! CHEAP TRICK April 9 ("Dream Police," "I want you to want me," love them even though their manager Ken Adamany stole my negatives and then banned me from ever shooting them again). THE GO-GO's May 31, whom I shot in the early days when they were punk and not even in a band, love them and so PROUD of them.

Is the Vault happening or what? We got the beat!!!

ASK
first, you might make a friend. Use my photos so I benefit too. These are MY photos.
Got a cool site or blog? Maybe we can link up. Better to ask than get angry letter/email from people who will stop you.

ANY usage, especially commercial or editorial, of any purchased, licensed, or otherwise obtained print(s)/scans, etc is strictly prohibited. Violates STATE and FEDERAL laws. That means if you use my photos on something (t-shirt, mag, print, etc) and make money, you robbed me. You robbed everyone, including yourself, of money needed for my archive. How does that make you feel?? That's not how punks treat other punks, especially us pioneers!

That includes, but is not limited to, scanning, reproduction, distribution in any manner, publishing, merchandise, posting, broadcasting, transmitting (podcasts, online, existing or future technology), etc.

Play nice and we can play together. Using without linking, notifying me, etc is bad karma.
