[77-05 or 06 1-23 Nerves Wh Phred] I didn't have a telephoto zoom lens yet, so I wasn't standing on the stairs, which became my permanent place to shoot at the Whisky. I hate these shots cos I don't like audiences. I wanna feel like you and I are the only people in the place. I like shooting the performer's whole body, not the back of heads. But I've included these two because of who is in the audience. Look at the profile of the dude with dark hair on the left. That's Back Door Man's Phast Phreddie.	[77-05 or 06 1-27 Wh Paula] Far right: Paula Pierce, who later formed the Pandoras, is the brunette with the bangs, wearing a dark sleeveless top over lightly patterned long sleeves. Peter told me she came to most of their shows.
[78-01-17 3-03 Masque Nerves] Paul Collins, Jack Lee and Peter Case relaxing on one of the few pieces of furniture in the Masque. The fire marshall closed the venue after this show.	[78-01-17 4-10 Masque Nerves] The Nerves were such cool dudes they lent some of their instruments to the Randoms.
