Chazz playing with the Skulls.

[78-01-17 2-32 Masque]

Genny Body of Backstage Pass with the two Kinman brothers, Tony and Chip of the Dils and later Rank and File. Oh, they were/are so cute, tall and thin. I wonder where the smiling blonde in the back came from?

My sweet and beautiful friend, red-headed Natasha.

[78-01-17 3-02 Masque]

I wonder what Exene is reacting to -- her mouth is wide open. With Billy Club of the Dickies in the front.

[78-01-17 3-03 Masque]

The Nerves, guitarist Jack Lee ("Hangin' on the Telephone" sung by Blondie and was written by him), drummer Paul Collins and bassist Peter Case. I just re-read "Neutron Bomb" where Peter said they were sitting and arguing and broke up at the Masque. Was that when I shot this. Peter is smiling. The Nerves were one of the first bands I ever shot in early 1977.

[78-01-17 3-04 Masque]

Leonard Phillips of the Dickies and his girlfriend, Charlotte Caffey of the Eyes, pre-Go-Go's success and fame.

Chazz and Brendan

This is one of the sweetest shots I ever took. Two young kids in a cold basement on a wintery evening. Wait, that's Lorna Doom peeking out under her hand and naturally curly "she's blonde" hair and Darby Crash, yawning and lookin' like he's up past his bedtime.

ASK
first, you might make a friend. Use my photos so I benefit too. These are MY photos.
Got a cool site or blog? Maybe we can link up. Better to ask than get angry letter/email from people who will stop you.

ANY usage, especially commercial or editorial, of any purchased, licensed, or otherwise obtained print(s)/scans, etc is strictly prohibited. Violates STATE and FEDERAL laws. That means if you use my photos on something (t-shirt, mag, print, etc) and make money, you robbed me. You robbed everyone, including yourself, of money needed for my archive. How does that make you feel?? That's not how punks treat other punks, especially us pioneers!

That includes, but is not limited to, scanning, reproduction, distribution in any manner, publishing, merchandise, posting, broadcasting, transmitting (podcasts, online, existing or future technology), etc.

Play nice and we can play together. Using without linking, notifying me, etc is bad karma.
