This photo perfectly illustrates where the Go-Go's were: no longer the shy girls afraid to move on the stage who dressed rather sloppily onstage, they finally started to get both their look and music together, starting with this show. The next month they'd leave for England, going out kids and coming back as stars. Kinda like "42 Street."

A Sav-On now, was the rink called Flipper's? Look how happy they are. We had NO idea the Go-Go's would break barriers and still be spoken about and listened to over a quarter of a century later. Notice only Pleasant and Belinda wore vintage thrift-shop necklaces. Didn't we have fun?
