This t-shirt says it all.

Joanna aka Spock of Backstage Pass and Rat Scabies, the Damned drummer. She's now in Nashville, still involved in music, but from the management side. Jake Riviera is on the right. Rat stayed at Spock's, enjoying all the creature comforts of home and then some with a lovely and talented LA woman!

Guitarist Brian James and Genny Body of Backstage Pass looking at ZigZag mag with Iggy Pop on the cover. I had no idea Brian was staying with Gen. The polka dots on the left belong to Jake Riviera, their manager. This image is dark because I shot with the sun streaming in.

Behind Greg and Suzy Shaw are photos of the Beatles. Beneath that are MY photos, Patti Smith and many others. I am still waiting for MY property to be returned and compensation for using them for nearly 30 years in various releases and other uses.

Capt Sensible and I emailed last summer because I wanted to see them. Not being a fan of the House of Blues, I passed on the chance. However, I asked the Capt if he remembered much of their first LA trip, saying I have tons of photos. Paraphrasing, he remembered that he might have done some things that he wouldn't be proud of now. Well, that's true of most of us! We were so wild and carefree!

The Damned were fun and put on exciting shows! My proofs reminded me they had a great stage presence, giving their all. Capt Sensible was a character, funny, outrageous, and fun to shoot and be around. More stories when I post my Damned section, which will take awhile, cos I have a lot of pix to sort through and more urgent projects.

ASK
first, you might make a friend. Use my photos so I benefit too. These are MY photos.
Got a cool site or blog? Maybe we can link up. Better to ask than get angry letter/email from people who will stop you.

ANY usage, especially commercial or editorial, of any purchased, licensed, or otherwise obtained print(s)/scans, etc is strictly prohibited. Violates STATE and FEDERAL laws. That means if you use my photos on something (t-shirt, mag, print, etc) and make money, you robbed me. You robbed everyone, including yourself, of money needed for my archive. How does that make you feel?? That's not how punks treat other punks, especially us pioneers!

That includes, but is not limited to, scanning, reproduction, distribution in any manner, publishing, merchandise, posting, broadcasting, transmitting (podcasts, online, existing or future technology), etc.

Play nice and we can play together. Using without linking, notifying me, etc is bad karma.
